The Story Behind Hikari Labs
Hikari Labs was founded by Oniko, a South African developer who got tired of seeing small businesses pay large sums for websites that looked outdated the day they launched, loaded slowly, and ranked nowhere on Google.
The gap was clear: South African small businesses needed the same quality of website that big brands had — fast, custom, SEO-ready — at a price that made sense for a business with 5 staff members, not 500.
Hikari (光) is the Japanese word for light. The name reflects what we try to do for every client: bring clarity to a process that's often confusing, and results that are visible — on Google, and on your bottom line.
